Boosting CAVs in the UK
Zenzic - Stand: AV6045

Zenzic, formerly known as Meridian, will be at Autonomous Vehicle to present its projects for boosting the testing, development and adoption of CAVs in the UK. The company was originally set up as a partnership between the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, the Automotive Council and the Advanced Propulsion Centre. Its aim is to provide technical and financial support to AV startups and established companies to boost the testing, development and adoption of CAVs in the UK.

Through this arrangement, Zenzic is channeling £200m (US$262m) into connected and self-driving vehicle testing and development in the UK. The goal is to secure the UK’s position as the leader for the self-driving future.

To this end, it will launch its ‘UK Roadmap to 2030’ later this year. This will outline the steps industry, government and academia need to take across safety, cybersecurity, people and infrastructure to prepare for the future of connected and automated mobility.
