A deep-learning autonomous driving system
Sigra - Stand AV4009

Deep Einstein, an autonomous driving system based on deep learning, will be the talk of Sigra’s stand. The company uses deep neural networks to create an awareness of the vehicle’s environment and enable it to take actions “as if it was a human being”. The system learns driving behaviour by watching hundreds of drivers driving thousands of kilometres around the world and is getting better with every hour of learning. It can drive differently in each country, as each has it owns rules and habits.

The brain of the system is designed to take inputs from various vehicle sensors, map and navigation data, as well as from external sensors and sources, and use this data to drive the vehicle autonomously and safely.

The company believes the power of the deep-learning approach is its ability to handle corner cases that are hard to tackle using traditional algorithms.
