Virtual ECU
QTronic - Stand: AV6005

By hosting a significant part of the software of a real ECU in a simulated environment on a PC, virtual ECUs enable test drives to be performed virtually, but with realistic models of the control software running in the car. Thanks to QTronic’s Silver and TestWeaver 4.0, virtual ECUs can be built by compiling the C sources under Windows or by executing the target CPU hex code on a PC using QTronic’s chip simulators. Multiple virtual ECUs and plant models can be integrated in a simulation with QTronic’s Silver tool.

TestWeaver, meanwhile, helps engineers to investigate the behavior of the simulated system in large parameter spaces. Classic test automation is complemented by thousands of computer-generated scenarios guided by intelligent search algorithms.
