Testing of autonomous vehicle and ADAS systems generates huge amounts of data, not least because constant video is needed to cover as many scenarios as possible. The Xylon LogiRecorder is inserted between a vehicle’s multi-camera installation and the ECUs to enable non-invasive recording of terabytes of data per recording session. These recordings can consist of uncompressed video and camera metadata, non-video sensory data and ECU network data. The LogiRecorder also allows recorded video and network data to be played back in real-time HIL simulations.
The LogiRecorder is modular and supports automotive video interfaces including the TI FPD-Link III and Maxim Integrated GMSL. It works with GPS, CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, BroadR-Reach, wireless links and other vehicle networks.
The PC dashboard application controls all features of the LogiRecorder such as the video marking, event-triggered recordings, and online and offline test data analysis.
