XenomatiX

XenomatiX, a specialist in solid-state multi-beam lidar, has developed a new lidar module, the XenoLidar- X, suitable for integration and series applications. XenoLidar-X comes in two versions: Xact for mid-range and Xpert for long-range.

As a robust, small, and lightweight solution, XenoLidar-X addresses challenges centering on performance without compromising the costs requested by OEMs.

As a step up from the previous modules, the new Xenolidar-X now offer a three-fold increase in the number of beams – increasing from 5,000 to 15,000- in addition to the unit being three times smaller and lighter, with power consumption cut in half.

This solid-state lidar represent a leap towards the integration of lidar systems into production vehicles and other applications. XenoLidar-X is ideal for digitizing while in motion because it removes lag time caused by scanning sensors as they move through the scanning pattern. The global shutter approach in solid-state lidar is well-suited for automotive applications, eliminating the need for motion compensation.

This robust, small, and lightweight solution is suitable for on road and off-road markets, agriculture, warehouse, smart city and automation markets.
