Technica Engineering has been developing automotive Ethernet solutions since 2008. The company’s automotive Ethernet hardware and software solutions allow customers to extensively and efficiently test modern onboard electronic components and networks for product testing, prototyping and recording communication. Some hardware includes the MediaGateway, 1000BASE-T1 MediaConverter and Enhanced Ethernet Switch, which, combined with ANDi (Automotive Network Diagnoser) software, provide the customer with an excellent combination of testing equipment.
At Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo in Hannover, Technica Engineering will show its solution to support the most relevant in-vehicle communication: Capture Modules. Through a modular and scalable system supporting low latency, Technica’s Capture Modules are the trusted testing tool for today’s self-driving test cars. With support for time synchronization and TECMP (technically enhanced capture module protocol), these Capture Modules are the state of the art in data recording. Capture Modules are offered for different bus systems, such as CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, RS232, Ethernet, 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1.
The company will also present its next-generation Enhanced Ethernet Switch products with three variants that provide 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet interfaces, with uplinks of 10G.
