Some of the New Products on Show

Mechanical and solid-state lidar
Hesai Technology - Stand: AV5000

Chinese laser company Hesai will have its two core lidar products on show, the Pandar64 64-channel mechanical lidar and the PandarGT 2D-scanning solid-state lidar.

The Pandar64 creates 360° 3D images by rotating 64 laser diodes inside the housing. Hesai claims a resolution of 0.167° and the ability to detect 10% reflectivity objects from 200 meters away. It is also resistant to interference from other lidars. Furthermore, it supports angle-trigger signal output to achieve multisensor hard synchronization with high accuracy. Thanks to the option of PTP time sync, it also simplifies vehicle wiring.

The 2D solid-state PandarGT features a 60°x20° field of view and an extended range of 300 meters at 10% reflectivity. Its dynamically adjustable beam distribution can enhance the vertical resolution by up to 0.07°, enabling object recognition from more than 200 meters away. Like the Pandar64, it is designed to be unaffected by other nearby lidars.
