Xylon’s new wireless vehicle router enables remotely supervised test data harvesting on roads around the world. The logiLINX-4G wireless vehicle router is fully integrated with Xylon’s logiRecorder automotive HIL video logger to enable reliable remote management of datalogging by test fleets anywhere in the world.

The logiLINX-4G vehicle router brings the internet to the vehicle by using a built-in 4G modem, and shares the network access by onboard devices via wi-fi and wired Ethernet LAN connections. It seamlessly pairs with the logiRecorder dashboard GUI to enable reliable remote management of logiRecorder automotive HIL video loggers deployed in test fleets anywhere in the world. In this way, skilled test engineers can supervise remote test sites, monitor live video streams from the test car, change the loggers’ test configurations or triggering conditions to capture different data sets, etc. The integrated wi-fi access point also allows for comfortable cable-free in-cabin control of dataloggers placed in a test vehicle trunk. The logiLINX-4G can wire up to four logiRecorder dataloggers via Ethernet LAN, in a stacked configuration that expands data bandwidth to more than 50Gbps and data storage capabilities to up to 128TB.
