Siemens will be demonstrating the newest addition to its Simcenter PreScan software. It combines the strengths of Simcenter PreScan with the HEEDS design exploration software. The new validation and verification framework for ADAS and autonomous vehicles starts from requirements and vehicle-level system architecture, and makes it possible to generate an endless number of virtual scenarios with numerous domains to be considered: sensors behavior, sensors fusion strategy, decisional artificial intelligence, lower level controls, drivers’ behavior, vehicle multi-physics, etc. What’s more, this whole process is embedded in realistic environments and scenarios.

The suite can combine efficient ego vehicle sensors, controllers, AI, and vehicle dynamics models with a tremendous number of scenarios. It also helps CAE engineers to understand the millions of results generated without analyzing them all. This can also be driven by requirements and linked to collaborative development assets repositories.
