!important is a free mobile app for pedestrian safety in a world of AVs. The app sends the pedestrian’s coordinates to surrounding vehicles so that they can slow down and apply the brakes if needed. Thanks to the latest mobile technologies and artificial intelligence, !important claims it has developed an OEM-ready technology that can be implemented on the road and be used for virtual testing to ultimately save lives around the world. So far, it has a presence in North America and Europe, but over the coming months, it is looking to extend its reach to other continents.
