Recording, processing, visualization and analysis of test data
b-plus

b-plus will show its validation technology at Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo. The components of the AVETO Validation Toolbox include hardware and software components for the recording, processing, visualization and analysis of automotive test data.

The data recording platform is the modular and compact BRICK system, which is equipped with high-performance ports and storage to guarantee various clustering and data collection management tasks. According to requirements, users can configure XTSS time synchronization.

Data integrity is monitored by the Toolbox, beginning with the decoupling and tapping of interfaces via the MDILink with configuration options for high-speed serial interfaces like FPD-Link III or GMSL 2. Data is timestamped based on synchronized clocks within the interfaces. The recording hardware and software monitor each frame loss or error on the transport line.

The harvested data is recorded with the AVETO.app recording software, which allows users to capture high-bandwidth measurement data and offers, for example, a ring buffer for triggered recordings.

The AVETO.app visualization software enables researchers to visualize the camera images and bus interfaces (e.g. CAN messages) in correlation with GPS data. Sensor developers can realize their own source objects in C++ with the AVETO.app Recorder SDK (software development kit). Furthermore, users can integrate their own algorithms into the framework.
